Chris has been with the office since June of 2012 and has worked on various audits that evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of programs by using data, including SNAP (food stamps), Medicaid programs, and deceased individuals receiving entitlement benefits.
Chris’ professional certifications include Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and Certified Government Auditing Professional (CGAP). Chris has a Bachelor of Science degree in Management/ Marketing from Louisiana College. He also received his Masters of Business Administration from Louisiana State University.

Louisiana Legislative Auditor
Kristen is a Senior 2 auditor with the Performance Audit Services section of the Louisiana Legislative Auditor. Kristen has been with the office for eight years and has worked on various performance audits that evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of programs, including probation and parole, child welfare, Medicaid long-term care, adult protective services, incarceration rates, juvenile justice, and tax collection. She is currently working on an audit examining state-wide IT consolidation.
Kristen has incorporated data analytics into many of her performance audits using a variety of methodologies. In 2018, Kristen’s audit report, Evaluation of Strategies to Reduce Louisiana’s Incarceration Rate and Costs for Nonviolent Offenders, won a National Legislative Program Evaluation Society Certificate of Impact. Kristen has also developed and presented data analytics training to performance auditors.
